In an earlier era, the needs of the people were far less complex than our needs today. There was far less rush in the day to day activities. And people were drawn together in close knit communities so that they may contribute their efforts for the comfort and ease of each other.
The Black Creek Pioneer Village is a great opportunity to explore the different components that made up the 'simpler' time. The village offers a glimpse of perspectives from period doctors, shoe makers, black smiths, clothiers, farmers, etc. And not only do you get to ask questions of the villagers, it is all done in an authentic environment that, with the exception of others visiting, provides a sense of actually experiencing pages of history first hand.
The Black Creek Pioneer Village, nestled in city of Toronto is easily accessible and worth the price of admission for an afternoon or day of exploration. With so much to see, do, and experience, it makes a great outing for the entire family.
