MarineLand is a giant park located near Niagara Falls that caters to Niagara Tourism. The park covers a large area and has some really nice carnival type rides for the kids, ample seating for picnicking, and a couple of impressive rides for adults.
But the main reason visitors will head to MarineLand is because of the water shows. A few times a day, the circus dolphins, seals, and walruses put on a pretty skillful show for the large audience to music. It is amazing what these animals are capable of.
At 'Friendship Cove' there are large tanks that the killer and beluga whales call home. The killer whales also put on a show where they wave and splash the audience at the command of trainers. There is also a most remarkable underwater viewing area where visitors can view the animals from an underwater perspective.
An enclosed area where crowds can mingle with live deer sits in the middle of the park. For $2.00, visitors can purchase food to feed the deer by hand as well.
